Hi, Lovely peeps, what a dreary day it's been today...wet, wet, wet, but the garden's enjoying it even if hubby and I aren't. Really do want to get down to walking along the seashore again, but haven't made it yet this year...even in good April...too chilly but I'm hopeful June will give us a chance.
What do you do on a wet afternoon...why, watch a film of course if you're not reading other people's blogs and doing your own. Have just watched a Korean film I recorded last night on Film4 called 'The Eye'...wasn't bad at all and the ending was spectacular... Now, as you can see, I'm back to checking blogland again.
Can't wait until ten when the series finale of Lost starts with a double dose, and apparently a lot is made clear...I might have already guessed but will wait and see ![]()
So, lovely peeps, am about to go and start preparing my own Chinese meal with Chinese spare ribs and pork and prawn rice or maybe noodles with water chestnuts, onions and peppers, and hoi sin sauce and a dash of soya sauce...hmmm...hope it tastes as good as it sounds...well to me anyway![]()
Hope you all have a good evening and big hugs to one and all

it started off wet here but the day has just improved by the hour with clear skies and lots of sun. The wind is from the north so it's a bit chilly but i've just spent the past 2 hours on the beach and it was empty, much too cold for tourists.
Have just eaten a tin of tuna fish and a slice of wholemeal bread...hmmm.....I dream of roasted lamb, roast parsnips and potatoes with carrots and green beans. I used to cook that for myself every Sunday and settle down with a bottle or two of wine and just chill out in front of the stove, a good book, with the dogs gnawing on the bones.-

You're lucky...it's pouring down here now. Just not looking outside as it's warm and cosy inside. Glad you got to the beach and ate something healthy :-)) I like that type of Sunday dinner meal sometimes, especially roast parsnips...I just adore them and so does my hubby...try promising yourself you'll cook yourself one next Sunday :-))) Big hugs to you.

Perfectly timed for Bank Hols...what was that you were saying about God in another post??? Do you think he sent it to us...why? I ask myself..it's nearly June and supposed to be sunny and warm by now...do you think he got his months mixed up...big hugs to you...:-)) We should try a collective think...saying...in my world, it's a gorgeous blue sky with a warm breeze and the temperature is a perfect 75 degrees....we've tried it on occasions when it's raining and we're outside, and do you know it's worked sometimes....???

Its a sunny day here. I would love to be able to walk along a seashore. I've always wanted to live by the water. Ah but I have my lake so I will be walking over there today. Hope you get to your seashore soon. Dinner sounds great, I'll be over. hehehe
