Here's my first effort at animation...following tutor's instructions. Bit raggedy but still works ![]()

hey, for a 1st attempt that's not bad.
Why do want to learn how to do it?

I'm not very good at these things ( I'm not that much good at other things too, but I won't dwell on those things ) and I'm amazed at how it's done? Is it quite easy? What do you need to do to make it do that?

It's easy if you know what you're doing, which I don't :-)) Flash is what you need to create them...my son's a graphic artist so I suppose I got the bug off him...and would love to do something like my Aniboom cartoons I put on my site one day...that though is a very long way off yet...big hugs.

I'm impressed.

I would be if I couldn't see all the little faults in it...but at least I got it to work...you think that copying a tutor's easy, but it isn't...he just whips through something he's completely familiar with and I'm there struggling to get the right angle on something for four days
But it's all practice :-)))-

Yes, like anything else, it requires practice, but before you know it, you'll be doing complicated stuff with ease. I bet there's a huge difference between the first piece you cross-stiched and the most recent one, and the same with your painting (which incidentally is most impressive).

I hope so :-)) And many thanks for your comment on my art work...pity galleries don't think so, can't get an exhibition anywhere...had to give up in the end, the house can't hold any more :-))

I'm so sorry you gave up the art work. It seems such a pity. I'm glad you've got it on display on the internet though for all of us to enjoy.

Still clever - sometimes I follow instructions and still don't get the result!
