Hi to everybody...hope you all had a very good morning...here it's sunny but cool in the wind according to hubby who went to the docs this morning and found out he's got a chest infection at the top of his chest only so that's good news in a way...if I hadn't made an appointment with the doc last week, and my prob with my leg cleared up so just swapped the appointment to him, he would have had to wait at least three days and then it would have got a hold on the whole of his lungs...antibiotics now should clear it pretty quickly and leave him well enough to go to the theatre on Saturday, then he's on hols for a week..??? Seems to have been on a lot lately and in between having nasty bugs...I think it's because he eats works food for four days of every week instead of my healthy meals and gets run down, but he's had loads of vit pills and other health pills so shouldn't really catch these darned bugs, but it seems he does, and, touch wood, I haven't this time...
My stomach is rumbling furiously now...too early for lunch yet, but will definitely be ready for it when it arrives in half an hour ![]()
This afternoon, my hairdresser comes on her usual six weekly visit and I hope she'll change this hairstyle of mine to something I can feel happy with, because this style just doesn't sit happily with me...I still look like the little French girl in the yoghurt ad who gets the boy's marbles back for him when bullies take it off him
This style is hers and I'm too darned old for it...
Will let you know if I end up with something that suits me...or not...BLOL...I'm assuming anybody out there will be the slightest bit interested in what I end up looking like
So, my friends, that's my rather boring morning...hubby's now trawling the net on his laptop while I'm on my comp so the house is very very quiet...in this silent abode apart from the odd click click of keyboards, I hope you have a good afternoon, and send you all big hugs...

Jen, such faith in vitamins and health pills, frankly I only think that they work if you have faith in them and I don't, so they will not work for me, and my daily dish of cereals seems to have every known vitamin included in it.
Chest infections, nasty things, does hubby smoke? because that will be blamed for it as it is for every darn thing that's wrong with you, if you don't smoke then the blame switches to not drinking enough water.
You know, I could be a doctor.-

No, hubby doesn't smoke but he is asthmatic so has a weak chest...and he does drink a heck of a lot of tea while I smoked until June and don't drink that much, but actually only got a bug once a year and never had colds...so my vits must have been doing some good....I used to say the bugs can't get past the tar in my lungs to give me a chest infection
Now, my lungs have cleared out after three and three quarter months without a single ciggie, I'll probably start catching everything going...HLOL...sod's law...

I am asthmatic too Jen. If hubby's chest gets a bit tight, get him to drink sage tea as it will open his airways.
Poor feller must be feeling like crap. I am sending him some healing hugs.
(((hugs)))
Jen, you look beautiful with your hairstyle.-

Give him a course of echinacea, Jen. It will do him the power of good.
Good luck with the hairdresser. I've //never// had a style that suits me!-

He's already had it, and is back on it again...he's improving but it's slow...and did have a cut I'm happy with, will get better as it grows a bit too I think...big hugs...have had some disastrous cuts in my time or perms in days gone by, but this hairdresser is very good, and a really lovely lady as well..

You can't take too much or is loses its efficacy.
A good hairdresser is hard to find - keep a hold of her!

Glad your hubby is okay and he went to the doctors.
That bit about your hair was funny! That girl is in the Petit Filous advert - that's the one you're thinking!

I like it and think it suits you personally but it's what you think that count! Hope you find another style you like and maybe describe it to us!
