Hi to one and all...just a bit of sad news we heard today at dinner time...Miles Kington died today at only 66. Some of you might have heard of him if you like Jazz or read the Independent, or listen to the radio where he was on several different shows a lot...he played the base in his Jazz career, wrote Jazz reviews, he also wrote some of the funniest skits in the paper on the general meeting of the Gods and what they discussed. Kev would have loved him if he didn't already know him...same type of lovely zany humour.
It brought a tear to my eye when I heard the news of his death. We are short of talented people with great senses of humour...my hubby and I will miss him a lot. He wrote his last piece for the Independent only last week and I believe it has yet to appear, and, as yet, I don't know why he died either.
Here's some information so far..

So, my friends, on that rather sad note, have a good rest of the afternoon, and big hugs to everybody...
