Hi to everybody...well, that's what greeted us this morning...lovely....so glad we went to the sea yesterday because we certainly wouldn't have gone today...got a surprise last night...at about 9.30 I had that damned stomach pain back suddenly...had me rolling up with pain...so ate three biscuits, took two spoonfuls of Gaviscon and a codamol...and waited for it to go...two hours later it eased off and I went to bed and slept the whole night apart from yelling with pain a couple of times when my darned shoulder hurt me but didn't have to get up at all...the only thing I can think caused the attack was a rich dinner of liver and bacon in red wine gravy with cauliflower in mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes...it was lovely...:-/ just a mystery to me this darned stomach thing...maybe after four days of very light evening meals, last night's was just too big and rich...hmmm...no fun eating anymore...never know what's going to happen a few hours later...odd that as well...it happens about three hours after eating...most odd....the only thing I've done differently this week is cut out the pain de raisin at 9 because I'm getting so damned fat...looks like I still need to eat every so many hours except when asleep...that sounds to me like an ulcer :-/ Hmmm...might see the doc again next week or whenever he can fit me in...
So, my friends, what with hail, rain and sun intermittently, not sure whether I want to walk round with hubby to Lidl's this morning...lots of dark threatening clouds still in the sky...I also can't get out into the garden to plant up my summer bedding plants yet...darn it! Was so hoping to get them done today but everything is soaked...
