Hi to everybody...well, we got down at last to have a proper go on the Wii Fitness, well hubby did and I watched and tried to do some alongside him but obviously not on the board...I came off as 71 years old balance wise...not surprising as I can't balance on a flat door let alone a small Wii board...the surprise was for hubby and for me was that he got 69 years old so we're both nine years older in years than we should be balance wise...hmmm....and he needs to lose a stone and a half to be completely fit...personally I think that's too light, but we given him three months to lose it...if he does the exercises, he could do it...first of all it told him that he was an ideal weight for his height and age, which rated him 25.99 or something like that then said if he wanted to keep really well he should be only 22...hmmm and that's where the losing a stone and a half came in...
We moved on then to the yoga exercises...I tried to do them alongside him and have concluded that with my back Yoga is out as well...can't do the balance tests, can't do the Yoga...four more to go...HLOL...I'm rapidly seeing my birthday present turning into a gym for hubby and a play thing for me...:) Oh, damn my back...I've spent all my life being so frustrated with it because it limits me so much...I'd love to exercise but really can't...anyway when he'd finished, we had a game of bowls on the Wii sports, and even then my darned shoulder played up and I lost two out of three, but hubby's definitely playing a heck of a lot better now than when he first started after tuition from moi...what an idiot...I should have left him to sort out his own mistakes...HLOL...
So that's it for now, have played my URU today and got through one whole section successfully...yippee...and tonight we're going to see The Hostage with Bruce Willis at ten because nothing else on worth watching....hubby's enjoying his birthday present now...the Box set of Cranford, North and South and Wives and Daughters by Mrs Gaskill, and watches them whenever there's a spare slot with nothing on...he loves them, which is good...you're supposed to enjoy your presents...nothing more to add now, have a good rest of the evening, and great big hugs to one and all...
