Hi to everybody...woke up after a good night's sleep right through from midnight...had an early night
...to 7.20 then hubby came in at 8.15 and suggested we go out for the day to Weymouth...the weather outside looked lovely and so I said that was fine with me...
We checked the buses and discovered that we should have got up in time to catch the ten to nine bus to get us into Poole in time to catch the Weymouth bus so clearly that was out, so quick change of plan...we'd go to Bournemouth instead and have a walk on the beach....We had breakfast, dressed and were ready to go out by 9.35 for the 9.53 bus...walked outside and we were hit by a fridge cold wind!!
Looked at each other and said...'just the morning paper then' and agreed quickly...damn, the wind was cold...I had a sweater on and a coat and it was still penetrating both...so much for the well laid plans of mice and men HLOL...
Now, we're back home in the warm and will probably take a walk round to Lidls this afternoon, do some shopping and back home as quickly as possible...rain forecast for later and thunder storms...and a poor forecast for the rest of the week too so we were incredibly lucky with last weekend's weather...don't mind what happens for the rest of the week because that was so good...
I'm going to have a go on my game now and start my new book...expect yells of frustration as I can't do another obstacle for several days...LOL...
All that remains now is for me to hope that all of you have a good day, if you're ill that you feel better soon and send great big hugs to one and all...

Yes, today's weather was a bit of a nasty shock, wasn't it?

Certainly was
but this afternoon was beautiful and warm again because the wind had changed direction...tomorrow is bad with rain and we're off to Poole's market...must go need some meat from the farm stall...the weekend isn't going to be good either...think I'll give up on having more than a day or two's decent weather and just accept mostly it's going to be either rotten or indifferent...

There was a bit of a cold wind yesterday, but we had warm sunshine to go with it, luckily. It's turned today though. Stay warm inside!
Cheers, Tom. -

I haven't been to Wyemouth for years, I used to love the place, we used to spend a couple of weeks a year down at the Royal Engineers bridging camp.
Great years, I remember them well
