Hi to everybody...very late today...LOL...woke up to grey skies but no rain...and discovered when we went out shopping in Poole that the winter had returned...
Not nice at all..in fact bloody cold...stood at the bus stop for over twenty five minutes instead of about seven waiting for the blasted bus which was late as usual...London can get its buses running on time, but Bournemouth and Poole apparently find it completely impossible...We left the house at 10.25 and arrived home at 12.55...got some lovely meat products from the farm stall, which is the only reason I went because our Sainsbury's shop was very small today so was worth going in even if horrible...it was just starting to rain when we arrived home so timed it well...the forecast for the next ten days is much of the same...damn...this change is not welcome...where's the promised Mediterranean climate? We were supposed to be able to grow vines and tropical fruits here...big joke that!!
This afternoon I played my game and have nearly got through another book...just a huge, darned impossible, jump onto a pipe crossing a huge chasm to get to an exit door so expect groans and moans until I do it..HLOL...Tonight is telly night...Bones, Cold Case and Boston Legal and tape Heroes to watch tomorrow...
Hmmm...nearly dinner time...I decided as the weather was so nice to start having salads again...looks like I jumped the gun...a warming stew might have been better for today....oh, well...diets are required...yesterday I had to go to TKMax and buy some larger trousers...grief!! Found I couldn't do half of mine up with the extra half a stone I've put on not smoking and losing it is proving darned difficult even though I've started again...found two pairs worth £75 for £24 so well pleased with that...![]()
That's it, my lovely friends, have read your posts and commented where I can, but been a bit lazy today as running so late, but hope you've all had a good day, and will have a good evening....so great big hugs to one and all for now....

It's dropped over 10 degrees so yes, it's a heck of a lot colder unfortunately...and yes, I got what I wanted...don't get much chance to get to Poole Market on a Thursday because hubby works overtime on that day and has to be in bed by 2 to be up by 3.45 and off to work at 4.30...I could go by myself but I can't carry much weight or pull a bag so I do have to rely on him coming along with me for any shopping involving carry anything.... Great big hugs...XX

It does you good to get out and about from time to time and visits to a good market are always welcome.
I appreciate it must be difficult at times though.

It's miserable today J and no mistake there.
It's remarkable how much the weather effects my mood.
Love TkMaxx btw, the racks of clothes are a little daunting but you can find some gems

Oh, yes, you definitely can...I love James Lakeland clothes and they cost an absolute fortune in the normal shops, but have got three skirts made by him and I love them....and cashmere sweaters for a quarter of the normal price...buy most of my clothes in there now...LOL...and Ray's...also have found some wonderful bargains in glassware...that's not around much now as they've started bringing in their own...you have to keep an eye out for when a shop's gone down and TK's has bought their contents...bought some gorgeous expensive soaps as well for a bargain price...difficult to find now any lovely smelling soap...supermarkets and chemists just don't do them and even gift shops don't do them much...and I've managed to stay in a good mood today, mainly because I'm getting blase about the blasted weather now...HLOL...great big hugs...XX

They are predicting colder weather here too, so we will see what will happen! The temperature has been around zero for the last mornings and I have heard that some parts of the country have got snow.

It does feel a lot colder today doesn't it? We very quickly got used to those higher temperatures. Still it sounds as though your trip out was worth it.
