Hi to everybody...woke up to another dreary, chilly day but that's life...LOL...had a good night's sleep again...didn't feel like going for the paper today so hubby went round for it...wanted to play my game...it's very addictive...
In a new age now full of horrible chasms full of boiling lava...I've now been burnt to a crisp more times than I can count trying to jump one of them so went down and had lunch...came back and started again and still being burnt to a crisp...does teach you perseverance if nothing else...HLOL...
This afternoon we also cleared out the garage mainly because there were a large number of cardboard boxes in it to the extent that the whole of one end was blocked...hubby and I extracted most of them and he broke them up after dropping a bed end on his leg and giving it a nasty scrape then swung a long length of cardboard round, misjudged its length and thwacked me in the face with it
I departed then before I got properly injured...went off to play my game...found two beach bags we'd been searching for for ages...they'd been put into one of the wardrobes in the garage which we couldn't get to because of all the boxes..so that was a good thing...very useful when we want to take a day trip out...
So, nothing exciting today...weather's just to awful to even think about going anywhere....I hope some of you have some sun because we haven't seen any for a couple of days now and the weekend isn't supposed to be any good either...
Recorded a Pedro Almodovar film last night called 'Live Flesh' so looking forward to seeing that at the weekend...hubby thinks we've seen it, but I don't think we have...also got Heroes to catch up on and am checking out a new series starting on ITV1 at 11.45 with Jeff Goldblum called 'Raines'...only seven episodes and a ghost element in it so should be or could be good...that's it for now...great big hugs to one and all and hope you're having a good day...

Everything comes now packed in huge boxes...some we keep in case the article bought goes wrong and have to return it, but most we get rid of in the recycling bin...they multiply like damned triffids...LOL...great big hugs...X

Don't think so with a piece of cardboard...I just made a big fuss because he does have a habit of injuring me in some minor way whenever we do something like this...we work great together when doing any self-assembly job, but on other tasks, I have come off with cuts and bruises before now...HLOL...he's good really...anyway he did scrape his leg today so fair's far...
Great big hugs...XXX-

Oh, doh! I thought he hit you with a pole of wood. I have no idea why I thought that. Perhaps it was the bed leg reference in the previous sentence.

If he'd hit me with a pole of wood, I'd be swearing my head off HLOL...no, just the edge of a sharp end of a box...didn't scratch me or anything just hit me...
Great big hugs...XXX

Shame the weather has turned again. But sounds like you've got your indoor entertainment sorted

Your garage sounds like our utility room. I don't know how or why we've got so many boxes and spare off-cuts of wood.
