Hi to everybody...quick update...I now have my appointment for the gastroscopy...Friday, 6th June at 2.15...that's pretty good...not a long wait at all...need to stop taking my medication as from today...I was told seven days off it was fine...and besides I've only been on it a week so it's certainly hasn't had time to work properly yet...can at least take my Gavilast...thank goodness...don't fancy rolling around in agony with nothing to take...LOL...let's hope they don't find anything too serious but something so that I'll have an explanation for this darned problem I've had since the end of January...
Great big hugs to one and all...

I think you said you had a gastroscopy when they stick a camera down your throat and check out your stomach and duodenum...and if necessary can take a biopsy if anything suspicious is there...I'm hoping not that serious, but do hope something's there otherwise I cannot think of any explanation as to why I've got this bad stomach suddenly....great big hugs...

Are you having a general anaesthetic or a sedative? Good luck, either way.

No, I can opt for an anaesthetic spray at the back of my throat rather than a local one...would prefer to be awake so they don't break my neck while pushing my head back to get it in...HLOL...a dentist dislocated my neck prior to having the rod when she pushed me back too far so I've always been wary of such examinations after that...had to walk around for weeks in agony until my doctor decided to hold me round the jaw and pulled up as hard as he could and twisted and it clicked back into place...huh...saved me pain there but was generally a lousy doctor...did find out afterwards he took a huge risk...he could have broken my neck with my curvature...he'd have been a dead doc if he had...
great big hugs...-
