Hi to everybody...had a good night...woke up to clouds and the threat of rain after it poured in the night...discovered we'd run out of bird seed yesterday and watched our birds that frequent the two seed containers every day desperately scrabbling for the last few seeds at the bottom of both...hmmm...it made hubby go to Tescos on his way home from work this morning and pick up some seeds, which he did and refilled the containers at 6.30...when we got up there was a flock of sparrows busily feeding from both...I think they've taught their fledglings to eat from ours which is a bit worrying if we ever have to go away for any length of time...I'm sure there are other people supplying food, but most seems to be peanuts and not seed...anyway, it was lovely to see them all back...
Went round this morning and bought a huge 20 kilo bag of mixed seed from the Range so we definitely won't run out for ages now...HLOL...plus four bags of chocolate raisins for my occasional evening treats and kitchen sponges...:) Hubby lugged the shopping home in the trolley while I carried on and went round for the paper which was in the opposite direction...now we've had our coffee, me a ciggie, I've done the quick crossword and are about to go and have lunch...
