Hi to everybody...just a quickie to say our plans to go away for three or four days have come to nought...everywhere is booked up...hmmm...and no use going to a B&B because you can't go in and sit anywhere usually as they expect you to be out all day, and don't know what the weather might do...oh, well, we'll have day trips out instead...LOL...also it's damned expensive going on a short stay in Britain...anything we can afford is probably booked up weeks in advance...never mind...

saves us quite a bit of money and looking at the state of the world's finances, it might be wiser to hold off spending unnecessary money...

Well, you can find B&B's with rooms but don't want one..if we're going to stay anywhere for several nights, a hotel is far better for amenities...and also has a restaurant attached as well...never mind, not upset...it's quite difficult in the UK to get hotel rooms at very short notice we've discovered at popular southern seaside resorts...the one we thought we'd go to was in Weymouth, because Torquay's and Exmouth's are all very expensive, had no space at all until Monday, which is no good for us as Ray's back to work on Wednesday and the forecast doesn't look good then...GBHs...

most you could go for is four days with the travelling time and Ray only gets three normally...also takes three hours to get there from where we are and back by coach or train...we'll make do with day's out instead...
