Hi to everybody...when hubby and I walked round for the paper this morning, suddenly, there were police sirens going and a police car belted along the road...we watched all the cars making way for them, and, when we got to the top of the hill and round the corner, there were two more police cars and a refrigerated lorry...a large one...parked on the side of the road. As we drew near we saw police all with bullet proof vests on and when the police car emptied, it was clear some of them were armed. We walked slowly along and noticed that the lorry didn't have a registration number on the back, and the driver was being talked to by another policemen...that was around ll.30ish...hubby's just gone out to go to work and has phoned me to say the lorry is still there with its engine running, presumably to stop whatever is inside from unfreezing and the police and the driver have gone just leaving it there...it's big and it's blocking the access rather to our road leading to where we live...you would have thought they'd have got him to move it onto the large car park for the small business park at the top of our road!!! Weird...
