Hi to everybody...woke up to hubby standing in the doorway at 9.30 saying 'the house is freezing, do you want a cup of tea?'...
I was asleep and tucked up warmed as toast...the house wasn't freezing, in fact, the conservatory was 50 degrees this morning, which is twenty more than it was a couple of days ago...anyway, got up after he brought me the tea and realised the damn weather was foul...dark grey clouds and raining on and off...he'd come in at 6.30 and gone into his study bed instead of the main bedroom where the radiator works and doesn't in the study...no wonder he felt chilly...he did that so that he could have a lie in and leave me to get up whenever I wanted to...HLOL...so much for the best laid plans of mice and men...
Nothing more at the mo....hubby's just decided he's going into Poole because we need to go to the Bank...darn nuisance it's so far away...I'm going to do the week's wash...oh, fun...
Hope you all have a good weekend and will see a bit of sunshine...sending great big hugs to you all in the meantime...

That was a nice gesture by him, and an offer of a cup of tea is always welcome as well! Our spare room is freezing too.

Wretched radiators have always given us problems...the copper pipes are tiny and with hard water they tend to silt up and a blockage occurs that can't be shifted or the bend is too acute so any tiny piece of grit can stop the water...all to save money and just a pain in the butt...his room's okay if the door is open because the rest of the house warms it up but shut it and it does get cold...GBHs...XX

I've just come home to a cold house and am trying to keep warm. I've not been here since last Sunday night so it'll take some doing

Never mind I have some ironing that could do with being done - that'll warm me up. But first some hot soup and a warm ciabatta roll (or 2!)
Have a lovely weekend

But probley go for a couple hours depends how I feel after I get there. I am on the verge of getting sick. So it will depend on this . Anyway hope you all have a good weekend
