Hi to everybody...had a good night and woke to a cloudy but still with some sunshine day...
gorgeous now...clouds are light and plenty of blue sky around...had my bubble bath and massage and very relaxed after both...
Walked round for the paper afterwards and came back and are doing the washing today as we did intend to go into Bournemouth tomorrow but, unfortunately, the forecast is for rain most of the day so that's off now...was going to make bread this afternoon, but we're leaving it until tomorrow and I'm trying out a new recipe so will let you know if that works... One thing about bread making is no loaf ever turns out the same as the previous one, which is odd as you're using the same ingredients and methods but each batch tastes different and has a different texture...bit like making pottery, you never know what's going to come out of your kiln...HLOL...
A relaxed afternoon is in store for us apart from hubby hanging up the washing...saw a couple of decent films last night that I recorded earlier in the week...White Sands with Willem Dafoe, Samual L. Jackson and Mickey Rourke...made in 1992 and a good thriller...don't make films like that anymore...and The Astronaut Farmer with Billy Bob Thornton and a cameo part by Bruce Willis and Bruce Dern as the father...a fantasy story of an impossible dream that succeeds only on screen but well acted and a nice film...both are worth a view...

I get some sunshine every time I fancy a cigarette - I combine it with a wander round the garden pulling up any weeds that have had the audacity to show their faces. My hubby's well busy too - he's shampooing the hall, staircase and landing carpets for me, as I find it rather exhausting to do - in return I'm cooking his favourite dinner for him this evening - Roast stuffed chicken with all the trimmings - just put it in the oven before I typed this, and I'll pop back down later to do the vegs

Ironing his blinking shirts is a fair exchange for shampooing the carpet I reckon!
No, I haven't given up smoking.... ciggy in one hand, pulling weeds with the other - then the dog end and the weeds all go in the compost bin together I reckon I get more fresh air and exercise during my ciggy breaks than any other time of the day. I have to go downstairs and climb back up for a start - not to mention when I run out and have to walk round to the shop for another packet LOL that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

HLOL...glad to see I've got one friend left who indulges still in the weed...
I don't go outside to smoke...but only smoke half a cig at a time so it's very quick...ends up with about six or seven a day now so I think that's pretty good... GBHs...XXX-

I sometimes only smoke half, but that's usually if I get rather engrossed in whatever else I'm doing and let it burn away! You're doing good with only 6-7 a day, I'm afraid I'm up to about 10 now, but I'm trying not to let it go any higher

If I get that high, I get a cough so try to keep it lower than that...I don't smoke doing something else so manage not to exceed half...

I only ever tried a bit of weed once, and decided I'd have preferred a glass of wine, so I never tried it again
Supposed to be good for arthritis though, so if it's ever on prescription I might give it a go

Indulged a lot once...did enjoy it and it's great to listen to music to... At the mo, I'm going through a really nostalgic period and playing all the music I used to listen to all the time, like the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Starship, the Eagles and loads of others...forgotten how good they were...listening now to American Beauty by the Dead...just brilliant... It is nice to have a helpful husband. Mine is good that way too, I am very grateful Today he even dusted! He vacuumed yesterday. In between, he takes care of garden, and will always grille salmon, roasts, and a whole chicken outside. Such a help.

That's what I love about making bread. It varies with each loaf and that's the exciting bit. Made some pizza dough last night and had some yummy pizza.
