Hi to everybody...had a good night until 7.30 when parcel post rang the doorbell delivering a book for hubby that had to be signed for...
Damn that's early...didn't really get off to sleep again properly after that, but dozed until 9 then listened to Melvyn Bragg's In our Time all about Radiation...very interesting...
Went outside to top up the bird tray which was empty... But do think it's still pigeons at the moment, and found it was really mild...had breakfast and now, hubby is vacuuming the house through and we've turned the living room carpet round so that's out of the way now...
Nothing else exciting happening here today...forecast rain and we have clouds but blue sky and sun too and hope you all have a very good day, are seeing some sunshine where you are, and send great big hugs to one and all...

Good morning. Yes that is early but I am up that early day so I can have coffee latta with my grandson before he goes to schoo. (he is eight and his is mostly latta but he likes it) Then I just stay up But the sun is shining if a bit cold

Hi Jen, no sunshine but quite mild, so was my mood until I got stuck behind some daft foreign student at the supermarket with three debit cards, one expired in jan 2008, one expired in jan 2009 and the other one had been stopped, all of a sudden she didn't understand English.
She would have understood what I was saying under my breath.

Oh, I'd have been champing at the bit!...LOL...usually when we're going through the till, we're running short of time for catching our bus home so any delay makes me very tense...glad that didn't happen to us...

Oh, that would have been really maddening...
Sometimes we take in deliveries for the houses on either side of us, and occasionally, I've had to get something on very quickly because standing naked in the bathroom when the perishing door bell rings and belt downstairs to find the woman with the white van standing there saying 'can you take this in for next door?' So pleased to hear that...but I do take the parcel in... Nearly bedtime now, Susie, so will say night night, sleep tight and sweet dreams... GBHs...XXX-
