They go on forever...damn it...I really hope they sort this out...now I'm pissed off too...LOL...sorry it took me a while to cotton on to what they have done!
Hmmm...what on earth were they thinking???

I can't imagine why they keep having to dig the same piece of road up three times, but who delves into the mysteries of British road diggers...LOL...
It's a really beautiful day again which explains the title of this post...so lovely to wake up to blue skies, soft clouds and sun...now there is that touch of Autumn in the air but the conservatory can still manage 55 degrees at 9 so no where near frosty in the morning...
One thing I forgot to tell you...for those of you who have been here with me for a long time, we used to have a lovely little cat called Whisky that belonged to a young couple down our road opposite us and we got to know him from a tiny kitten and then about two years ago now, the couple moved and for many months and even occasionally now, Whisky would visit here from his new home over a mile and a half away...well, in the last week we've found that there's another little kitten who is extremely friendly and who comes running over to us for loves whenever we pass it by...it's black and white like Whisky but this one is spotted like a dalmation...mostly white with black patches and very, very sweet...if it survives the road outside the estate which is ran straight into yesterday when following us, we've found another friend...LOL...Must find out its name and whether or not its male or female...
Today, is a special day...my hubby has shaved his beard and moustache off for only about the third time since we've been together...and I can't stop laughing...without it, he has the funniest face...a real jokers face...and is like our son who died...he's standing in the shower room now throwing out jokes nineteen to the dozen with his new face and I can't see to type with crying with laughter...he has a Nigerian voice which finishes me off every time he uses it...I'll put a pic up of him when I decide whether I can live with this new hubby... He's knocked years off himself that's for sure...but he's lost his gravitas now and it's a bit awkward when every time you look at your husband you fall about laughing...
Anyway, that's our morning so far...hope you have a lovely day, will see some sunshine and send great big hugs to one and all...

That's outrageous...it isn't clear at all on their website...she said it doesn't say it in words!!! What...I asked how the hell was I supposed to know that then if not written in words...anyway, the long and the short of it is, no free postage on One Click and no refund for me because I used it...Bloody Amazon knows they've got their customers over a barrel because you can't say you won't use them again as their books are the cheapest around...but, this is a big CON...so watch out for it if you ever buy books from them...Here's their customer services number...I'd advise you to write it down because you'll never find it on the website...0800 4961081
I could have bought it from another seller cheaper if I'd known Amazon was going to pull that fast one on me...I'm bloody angry with them...So, anybody here tempted to use the One Click facility where Postage is said to be free...DON'T...because you'll be charged first class postage...
Now, we're home, have had coffee and were wondering whether to do the rest of the shopping today in Poole, but that will be very tiring to do two big shops...we'll see...unfortunately, today is a one off apparently...the rest of the week is going to be very unsettled...hate going shopping in the rain, but don't think we're desperate for anything on the list...
Well pleased with that...HLOL...getting younger by the day... Hubby's doing it now...
Not going anywhere today...so just a nice relaxed and lazy weekend...hope you all have a lovely one too, will see some sunshine and send great big hugs to one and all for now.

Now, I'm still not dressed...feeling lazy again...grey today but very, very mild...was 60 degrees in the conservatory at 5.30 this morning! Will have our exercise on the Wii this afternoon and, apart from that, neither of us are doing anything pertaining to work today...except I've got to make some more coleslaw as we ran out yesterday...LOL...very hard work indeed...actually grating carrots does make my wrist ache...HLOL...
Got up at 9.50 to try to catch up on some lost sleep without success...LOL...had a whole load of thoughts going through my head about the hypocrisy of the West and the reduction in our personal freedom, which has nothing whatsoever to do with anti-terrorism, but just a slow and steady removal of our freedom...not thoughts that induce sleep...HLOL...discovered, when we got up, that it was a true Indian Summer's day...64 degrees in the porch and lovely and warm outside when we had breakfast and went shopping at Lidl's...the back door is now wide open and the house is as warm as toast...
So, apart from coughing and not sleeping well last night, all is well here... Hope you're having a good day, are seeing some sunshine and send great big hugs to one and all...

Finally dragged ourselves out and had breakfast and it's a beautiful warm, sunny day...got dressed and then sorted out the IPod...now all it needs is for hubby to download his CD's and transfer them onto it...holds a 1000 tunes apparently...and can tell you what the song is too...mustn't lose the perishing thing...!!...so small it would slip through a hole in a pocket easily...
After that, we went for a lovely walk on the heath and I was really peeved...as we walked towards the heath itself, a beautiful Red Admiral landed on a leaf and I could go as close as a couple of inches from it, then a beautiful bullfinch sat in a tree above it and didn't move and, guess what, I didn't bother to bring my camera with me today!...was really annoyed with myself...then we discovered that the multiplying stones had been moved and now stand in a straight line along the grass verge...all 21 of them...there were some workmen doing something in front of the water works and I asked them where the stones came from and they said they had no idea...all they had to do was move them so still nobody can tell us where these huge stones come from... A real mystery it seems. Continued on our way for about twenty more minutes then turned back and walked slowly home and saw yet another lovely butterfly...this time it was brown with distinct yellow spots in two rows on its wings and missed being able to photograph that too...sod's law really...LOL...
So now, it's nearly lunchtime and the fibre-optic guys are busy digging up the pavements and laying connection boxes in front of each house that wants to be connected...they're next door at the moment, and probably ours will be done this afternoon...
Hope you all have a good day, will see some sunshine and send great big hugs to one and all...

Never late but today, due to the bridge being rebuilt in Boscombe where it come out of, all the buses are going to up the creek for two months...anyway, that's where we decided to go to today...Weymouth, about 35 miles away...would arrive at 1.15...bit of a draughty journey there as there were windows open but it was on time...what we did notice though was that the nearer we got to our destination, the cloudier it got and two minutes from it, it started to rain...whoopee doo...HLOL...well, got off the bus and decided to find somewhere to eat straightaway, and did find a really nice little cafe where we had a very nice lunch with good coffee too and when we came out, it was a faint drizzle still in the air but ten minutes later it had stopped completely and didn't rain again all the time we were there...decided as it was still cloudy, we'd catch the 4.05 bus back as we wouldn't be home again until past 6 and that is what we did...had a good stroll round the centre of Weymouth, along the harbour and then the sea front and took lots of pics as well... Loads of baby seagulls around, some still with their baby feathers and others almost with their adult plumage...seems their heads are the last to change...LOL...so lovely white, black and grey body with a brown head...
Did get home at 6.05 due to the bus driver taking the wrong road as he hadn't driven that route for a year so had to do a circle around again to get back on the right road...LOL...I said to hubby I thought when I heard that they were giving us a new driver as there was a hold up of the bus we were supposed to catch ...'bet he takes a wrong turn'...and lo and behold he did... Second time in ten years so not bad going...some panicking passengers though who thought they'd caught the wrong bus...LOL...I had dinner on the table by 6.25 as well and that's pretty good going...but did cheat...hubby had left over sausage and pasta with a rich sauce while I had a duck egg and ham on toast...both of us were well satisfied though as the lunch was quite big...
So, my lovely friends, that's it...a bit less tedious than my usual posts I hope...I'll put my photos up later as I'm off to watch University Challenge in a minute.... hope you all had a very good day, will have a relaxed evening and send great big hugs to one and all...

I'm feeling that my blogs are getting exceedingly boring for everybody...mainly because Winter is approaching so we're not doing that much and tending to do much the same each day...could discuss all sorts of things here, but really don't feel the urge to do that...my group, Armchair Revolutionaries, I keep for in depth discussions...I may stop blogging here for a while...I feel it's taking a lot of my time up which I should be using to be more creative...but, I have to get over the fact, that I'm almost incapable of simply doing something solely for myself...I can do things for other people, but not just for me...can't see the point in doing that at all...it was why I stopped painting and writing...I find no pleasure in doing something that's going to sit in a cupboard for the rest of my life or take up space in the garage, which is already full of paintings in any case...
I could have quite a few years more to live so part of me is telling me, for goodness sake, woman, you can't sit on your arse for the rest of your life!...Find something to do!...but, so far, nothing has come to mind... I've tried self-publishing and that was a real failure...tried painting, sculpture, pottery, embroidery, dress designing, knitting....apart from stripping for a living, I can't think of anything left in the creative sphere of life...would have earned more as a stripper than an artist that's for sure...except of course, my shape would have put paid to that...HLOL...always something blocking my way...
Okay, that's it for now, bored you all to death again, but don't be surprised if you don't see me around here for a short while...I need time to think, and I can't do it if I'm directing so much of my energy and time here...Hope you all have a great weekend, are seeing some sunshine, and send great big hugs to you all in the meantime....

Hope some of you are seeing sunshine now and will soon if not yet, have a great rest of the day, and send great big hugs to one and all in the meantime...

Also had the strangest experience during the night...something in my head said as clear as crystal...Susan Gluckstein left this world last night....??? That was some time in the middle of the night, and when I opened my eyes in the morning the first thing on my mind was the same sentence...I've had breakfast and been on the Net and there is a Susan Gluckstein and I think a couple more but so strange...apart from that, nothing strange at all has happened...
So, my lovely friends, it's bread making, playing on the Wii and just generally pottering about today for us...Have decided to take the competition out of the bowls and golf we play by playing with one player and each of us having a turn...that way we exercise, I don't get completely frustrated because my energy levels drop too quickly and hubby's fine with that idea...at the end of it, we can see which game scored the highest one in bowls, and how well we did on the nine hole golf circuit... Hope you all have a very restful weekend, somehow doubt you'll see much sun if in the UK today, but keep cheerful for tomorrow is going to be beautiful... Sending you all great big hugs in the meantime...

Very full of golden oldies so had to go upstairs but a good journey there and did all the shopping, were very careful about checking the list and managed to come home today with everything on it!! HLOL...damn miracle...also picked up my supply of cucumber cleansing milk from the Body Shop so glad about that as I was beginning to react to the other replacement for it...bit like putting Philadelphia cream spread on your face every night but tried another and was very allergic to that one...a real pain when you've got a sensitive skin so just hoping there's nothing new in this batch of cleanser...I was told the only different ingredients in it are the source of them - now they're from the Fair trade scheme so that's fine...
Got the bus back too on time and were back home having a coffee by midday...gorgeous afternoon now...bright blue sky and those voluminous white clouds that look lovely...and not cold either...unfortunately, the forecast for tomorrow is dreadful and it's the country wide coming together to support those making an effort to bring in measures to deal with climate change...I just cannot stand for two hours in the rain on the sea front...what a shame and the bad weather is right across the country too...so it's just bread making day tomorrow and then the rest of the day is ours...
So, that's it...hubby's hurt his wrist a bit by being too strenuous hitting the ball in the Wii golf so may not play today... Keep telling him to be more gentle when thwacking it...LOL...do they listen...nah, never...deep sighs...So, my lovely friends, that's definitely it...hope you all have a lovely weekend, will see some sunshine wherever you are and send great big hugs to one and all...

Deep sighs...and LOL...sod's law...ran out of time to finish the job...
Catching up now on some of my series that had to be recorded because clashed with some other one or was just too late to watch...saw Dollhouse, episode 2 tonight and Sanctuary, part 2 and darn well missed part 1 because they didn't say it was the start of the new series...hmmm...will check and see if I can find it on Watch again... It's typical with the TV...you go through weeks of having barely anything to watch then all of a sudden, there are so many new series you've been waiting for and they all come at once... Oh, well, it'll keep me entertained through the cold winter nights...LOL...
Very nice afternoon still, and not cold today at all...the forecast for tomorrow is mixed but Friday is supposed to be dry which is good news as we're going into Poole for shopping again...that's it for now...hope you're all have a good afternoon, are seeing some sunshine and send great big hugs to one and all...

Been shopping in Lidl's and it's much warmer than it has been for days now...the rest of the day is ours now to do with whatever we want...hubby also received in the post this morning a plaque set in resin honouring his 29 years of service to the PO made in China...HLOL...and a catalogue to choose a gift...we think we'll probably get the Apple 4gb IPod and earphones because that will be useful when we go away on our hols... There was also a Samsung camera there but it's not much more powerful than mine so will give that a miss...that came as a surprise...hubby wasn't expecting that...
Where did the morning go?
Nothing else to tell you...one of those days when we'll have our daily exercise on the Wii this afternoon and then do a bit more on the comp and then it's dinner time...LOL...hmmm...must pop out to the shops on Thursday or try Wednesday afternoon and then we're going into Poole on Friday to pick up my cucumber cleansing milk which has finally arrived again with the Body Shop bringing back old favourites...been without it for a month now and miss it after using it for probably thirty years now... Got 12 bottles on order so that I'll have a supply because they're not bringing it back permanently...silly bloody L'Oreal...hopefully, that will take me through until they bring it back again...
That's it for now...hope you have a great day, will see some sunshine, and, if not, won't get too gloomy with the boring weather, and send great big hugs to one and all...
