A day of doing little or nothing...actually, hubby's just off to the chemist to pick up his prescription for his thyroid prob and dragging him off his lappie has involved bawling at him to 'Go and leave the damned letters until later'...HLOL...
So, that's it for now...hope you all have a very good day, will see some sunshine, and, for any of you caught in the terrible rain, I really hope you stay safe and dry, sending you all great big hugs in the meantime...

It so annoys the hell out of me that this puritanism is creeping in everywhere and being promoted as good viewing and reading...vampires are creatures of the night...they have been since they were first written about and turning them into the Waltons is not on! We already have absurd PC invading our world now, and I say 'get out of the world of fantasy'...because you're going to fill young minds with damned stupidity...she's a Mormon! That's why they're so super clean and twee...what kills me is she's been given loads of literary awards and has sold 70 million copies around the world...this is a rant I know, but it just makes me so mad that the sanitizing of the human brain is taking place slowing but surely and turning idiocy into something to be proud of and that, to me, bodes very ill for the future...
And his father is the doctor in the local hospital??? At some point, the vampire reveals what happens to him in sunlight...his skin goes all sparkly like diamonds...What!! No, vampires catch fire in the sunlight...it's a ridiculous part of being a vampire to change...all the vampires could go out during the day because they lived in the wettest part of the USA in a small town...so sunlight doesn't filter through the cloud cover??? There was no passion between the two characters, sex was kissing and then only a couple or so times, and, all in all, it was a total waste of time...Buffy when she went with Angel and Spike, later on, was on fire with passion...the other three series, including True Blood, have real vampires and smouldering passion between the female character and the vampire, but this was just plain boring...if I was a teenager, I'd feel completely cheated...but then I'm not, I'm a golden oldie who enjoys series with vampires in them...LOL...but please, who ever wrote this piffle, don't change the fact that vampires can't deal with sunlight...
Hmmm...that's my moan for today...two wasted hours last night...LOL...Hope you all have a good evening...I'm watching Bones at 9 then 'Enid' with Helen Bonham Carter, the story of Enid Blyton on BBC4 at 10... Great big hugs to one and all in the meantime...

Now, we're up and dressed and getting ready to go shopping in the town today...we've decided to catch the 11.17 because the 10.40 bus is going to be really held up by the repairs to the bridge in Boscombe that is throwing loads of bus routes out and making them all very late...the one we're catching doesn't go anywhere near that town...It's a beautiful day, with blue skies and very mild again...was 70 degrees in the porch this morning at 9! You will find any unwanted comments at the top of your blog Home Page after new Posts and New invitations, you just click on Comments to be moderated and reject any you don't want...You can also write a description of your blog which will appear permanently under your Header Image by clicking on the spanner...This is for newbies because I know most people here will already know this...
Saves having to see inane comments and sellers on your blog...
So, now I'm sorted, the rest of the day will be one of doing our own thing and relaxing...
I hope you all have a great day, will see some sunshine, and send great big hugs to one and all in the meantime...

And, is BCUK going to give us a chance to replace our overly long tags with appropriate ones, with an explanation of how they work for those like me, who need to be told...only take nearly four years for me to learn what a tag actually is, but still not entirely sure how they work...
Have a lovely day, and great big hugs to one and all...
